As we reflect on the damage Hurricane Harvey caused the city of Houston and the state of Texas one year ago, the SWE Homes family would like to give thanks to our first responders and everyday citizens who stepped out to help those in need during the treacherous times. They gave our city hope and inspired us to unite as one and take the first step in rebuilding our home.
The SWE Homes family was fortunate enough to be able to assist our customers in need. SWE Harvey Relief Fund offered $2,000,000 to our home owners through unsecured signature loans, interest free for up to $1,000 per family. We also aided our rental customers’ $1,000 interest free loans and Houston area realtors with $1,000 interest free loans. Natural disasters can affect many circumstances and our funds were able to assist those whose lives changed in what seemed a blink of an eye.
We worked around the clock to assist our home owners process insurance claims and helped our rental customers with scheduling repairs. We had dozens of crews working up to 14 hours a day to help our customers. Our goal was to make a difficult time, a little bit easier.
SWE Homes has rebuilt dozens of homes in Houston and we will continue to make contributions to this beautiful city in order better our community. We will always be #HoustonStrong.
