Harvey Update

To our valued customers, families and friends, our hearts and prayers go out to all who have been affected by Harvey.

If you’re an SWE homeowner, please contact our customer service department at 713-231-1150. If you have questions you’d like to email or if you’d like a copy of your insurance declaration sent to you electronically, please email  Stacy at Stacy@swehomes.com  or Maria (Si Habla Espanol) at MariaV@swehomes.com.  They are happy to assist in any way that they can.  Please note that we will be open on Labor Day.  We are working around the clock throughout this crisis.

Please note, you will need to file your claim with your insurance carrier directly.

If you have rising water that caused flooding in your home, you would file this damage under your flood policy.  Unfortunately, we are finding that some customers that have flooded do not live in a flood zone, therefore do not have flood insurance.  If you had water enter your home via a roof leak, broken windows, or other rain or wind damage, those claims should fall under your homeowner’s policy.

For those that flooded that do not have insurance, we recommend you file a claim through FEMA using the information provided below:

Hearing Loss/TTY – 1-800-462-7585

711 or Video Relay – 1-800-621-3362

We have also mailed a letter, dated 8/31/17, which you should be receiving soon, containing more helpful information.

For those who have family members and friends that need a home, we do currently have a good selection of homes that have not been affected.  We are trying to get everything inspected as quickly as possible, and we are in the process of notating which properties are dry on our website.

We have ordered hundreds of fans to help people dry out their homes.  We hope to have them available at our office, free of charge, by Wednesday, September 6th.  We hope to receive them sooner, and if so, we will update the website with a new date.

We also have clothing available for children as well as adults, both men and women.   These items are available on the 4th floor of our building right now.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist you through this trying time.  We are working as quickly as we can, and our entire staff is focused and dedicated to helping our valued customers, friends and families.

Please remember Houston is a great, can-do city and we WILL recover and be better than ever in time!  We are so encouraged by so many people volunteering to help others.  #HoustonStrong!
